Hi folks--
i went to the "International Motorcycle Show" in Cleveland today and here are a few notes:
The Kawasaki W650 is a beautiful Triumph Bonneville lool-a-like, but it seems a bit crude (by jap bike standards), and it has a chain drive (I'm not doing that again).
The "Real" new Triumph Bonneville looks even better, but has a seat that seems like a piece of 2X8 with some vinyl tacked onto it. TERRIBLE! I've never been a big fan of the Savage seat until now. One minute on that slab of lumber was all it took.
There were many other fine rides there, but one that caught my eye (not that I have any interest) was a new Honda Goldwing -- $27,000. My $3800 Savage got all that more atractive.
